About Us

Sexual Child Abuse Relief and Services Inc. (S.C.A.R.S.) is non-profit organization dedicated to and organized for the prevention of sexual child abuse, increasing public awareness, public education, and fostering community involvement. We serve as an informational resource for victims, their family members, parents, educators, and other caring or interested parties.Through prevention and educational programs we will educate individuals, groups, committees, institutions, organizations, and the public in general on the various forms of sexual child abuse, methods used by child predators, signs of abuse, signs of inappropriate adult behavior, and prevention methods. We will provide children with easier and less intrusive methods to report sexual abuse to a trusted adult, at the same time instructing the trusted adult on what to do and just as importantly, if not more so, what not to do. 

We are constantly working to develop new and more effective methods of identifying, locating, and rescuing victims of trafficking, child prostitution, and child pornography through the use of technology, investigation development/training programs, and victim treatment/recovery programs. We will continue monitor advances in technology and implement those advances in our programs for the identification/prosecution child sex offenders and the prevention of sexual child abuse.                   





Sexual child abuse victims represent a diversity of ethnicities, cultures, classes, income levels, disabilities, sexual and gender orientations, ages, and geographic locations. We do not, nor will we tolerate discrimination of any kind or form towards any victim regardless of ethnicity, culture, class, income level, disability, sexual/gender orientation, age, or geographic location. No child deserves to have their childhood and innocence stolen from them, we treat all victims of sexual child abuse equally, with dignity, courtesy, understanding, and respect.
